Con Moto is a kinetic artwork composed of tall metal tubes whose curved upper sections rotate lightly in the wind, making the movement of air visible. The stepped, pipe-like arrangement echoes the varying heights and rhythms of an organ, referencing Kangasala’s long tradition of organ making. As the wind turns the tubes, subtle shifts in the artwork’s composition can be observed. Taking its name from the musical term meaning “with movement”, the work offers a quiet, contemplative expression of air and motion in sculptural form.
